    Dennis,

Is that from your new drone?

    Dennis,

I posted before I saw others asking the same question and your answer that it is your new drone. Great shot! What kind of camera do you have hanging from your latest toy? That's as nice as my Nikon Df from a tripod.

  3. Don,

Yes, from the new little photocopter. The little photocopter is a DJI Phantom 3 and comes with it's own camera. I call it a tool rather then a toy, so my wife doesn't object too much.

  4. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your photocopter from? I'm really interested in getting one myself for the same purposes!

  5. Hi Den..A question on your new photocopter. How far away from you will it fly before your controller will lose the signal ??? Pretty expensive piece of equipment to lose. Penny in IL

  6. The copter is a DJI Phantom 3 purchased from Intelligent UAV.
It will go about a mile, however, I will will probably never let it get out of my site, which is about 1500ft.
Technology is advancing rapidly, and there will be more around soon. but, like seagulls, you probably won't pay attention to them after awhile, unless they get too annoying that is.

    Dennis,

Has the sound been turned off on the cameras to help with performance? I'm not hearing anything and the sound bar on the lower right is turned all the way up.
