    1. I couldn't afford to donate, I am 83 on Soc. Sec. &
I thank all who donated & Dennis for putting the cams in. I don't have a wide screen, but I love it.
There is only 1 cam I can get the wide one. Thank you.

  2. This is amazing Dennis! Thank you. Since you mentioned that you'd me making a few tweaks, could you angle the camera upward a bit? I think that small change would greatly improve the view of the harbor. Again, thank you.

    1. That's a great suggestion..... but then we'd miss all the deer that hang out there! Oops, this is for ships, sorry LOL!

Thank you Dennis. I miss this view when I'm not there.

    2. Agreed, the picture would be much better if tipped up.

  6. Why aimed at the boat launch? Tilt cam up a little more to see the lake and ore docks better? Love all the other cams on this site. Great job on that. Thanks

    1. It'll be more interesting in the summer? It is kind of fun to watch them launch. I only saw it in person once and we've been to a lot of sites over the years. Casna

  10. It's amazing in that we moan and groan because there are no cameras at certain locations, and then we moan and groan because we don't like certain things about them. Through all this Dennis you do one h--l of a great job. Thank you.

  11. I really don't take offense at any suggestions, especially obvious ones. Since I don't live in Two Harbors, it takes some time to make any changes.

  12. Yes, the camera should be raised up and to the left a bit. Thank You

  13. The views remind me of the 70s when I spent many hours on those docks while working as a deckhand on the Clarke and Ralph H. Watson.

  17. Watched the Blough & Erie Trader at Two Harbors and certainly need to raise the boat launch camera. It cut off the top of the stack a little when the Blough left, and I'm sure most of the wheel house on newer and larger boats won't be in the picture at all. Depot cam is fine and angle of launch cam is fine other than being to low. All this being said, I love both cams and as always you do a terrific job and many thanks for doing all this.

  19. Wish we could see view of lake to east, as boats approach. Would give me time to get down to docks for final approach. I'm so grateful to you for adding these 2H cams, great work, angles can be tweaked over time.

    1. Your the man, Dennis! Being down here in south central WI we don't get to see the big boats like you folks, if it weren't for the cams we would be missing this part of the world. My father and I look at them everyday, I several times a day. Duluth is lucky to have someone so willing to share the experience of it.

    2. Would you have time to take some stills of the area we don't see? Such as the depot, the little wetland by the stairway ( which we won't see when you change the camera- I wonder if there is bird life there later on ) some more lake frontage, maybe a couple of 360s to put the cams in context. I didn't want to complain but as long as everyone else is I like the launch cam just as it is! I'm outnumbered though. Casna

  23. Sunday morning, ad I watched the American Integrity outbound and the Walter McCarthy inbound out on the lake with the depot cam. I then moved to the boat launch cam and watched the Joeseph Block enter and dock. All within less than an hours time. There is no need to change the depot cam and only need to raise boat launch without changing angle. One can't ask for a better Sunday morning. Thanks again.

  24. Really love watching these new cams, boat launch needs to be much higher, I myself like to see the stairs, the pond but I like many, take screen shots of the ships but you can't get all of the ship stacks are not in the whole picture of camera view..also the wind yesterday moved it down even lower. Thanks for all the effort you put into these cams..thanks

  25. The Boat Launch cam needs to be raised a little to see less road.

  26. So there are deer there and boats launching and people? Use caution when raising camera. I saw boat come in from East and to my shock it appeared on the left side of my screen and all the way into harbor.
WTH are these people talking about asking for an East view?

  30. Not sure what's going on on Android. It explodes into full screen without touching it and locks up chrome.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Puffin is ok. Still doing it on chrome.

  32. Just touch the play button in middle of screen. Kaboom.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ok. Maybe there's a trick to get it out of full screen. I got it out this time. Never seen that setup before.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maybe put those instructions on marina cam home page where they won't vanish so quickly??

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanx for the adjustment! Framing is mucho better!

  37. Dennis-Your boat launch camera view is great. It just changed when I was watching it. Basically now see the whole inner harbor, plus the breakwall. I wouldn't change it again. From an old sailor, it's perfect.

  38. AAHH! Much better angle!

  39. I wonder if you can hear the lift bridge horn from Two Harbors - on a really calm day or when the wind is just right? Awesome job with the cams! Thanks so much!!
