Storm clouds passing- Caribou Lake!

While I was debating whether to go to the basement or not, I snapped a few photos as these ominous clouds rolled across Caribou Lake. Winds reached 50 mph as the front moved through. Other than a branch piercing the wood shed roof, there wasn't much damage.

Two Harbors lost the Boat Launch Cam for now --- hopefully just a power outage.

Coast Guard Saves the Day!

Early this morning, vandals set two Vista Fleet boats adrift in the harbor.  The Coast Guard was scrambled and managed to head off one of the boats just as the 730ft John D. Leitch was passing through the Duluth Shipping Canal.
