Ice Crystals on a cold day! - Replay!
I recorded this a few years ago, but, thought it would be appropriate for a day like today!
So, this is what old photographers do in Minnesota when the temps drop. I took these videos from my back porch when the sun was setting at -5F.
These amazing ice crystals form rapidly inside the bubbles when blown onto icy snow in sub-zero temperatures.
I never cease to be amazed at the wonders of God's creation.

Just Passing Time on Lake Superior
In case you missed the sunrise this morning, grab a cup of coffee, sit down and relax for five minutes. This morning's sunrise will drop your blood pressure ten points and help put life into perspective.
ENJOY!

Slow January Sunrise
The -10F temperature at the Duluth Harbor was not unusual for late January, but, open water in the canal is unusual for this time of year. Looks like an early Spring on the way.
