Camera Status Update 8/6/2015 08:00
All cameras are operating, but, expect some intermittent operation today.
Important Notice: The camera streaming company is moving the cameras to a new and "eventually" better streaming platform. During this period (about a week) you can expect slow, intermittent, and sometimes unstable operation.
I am working with the streaming company during this time and once complete, the system should be better then ever. Thanks for you patience and understanding during this process.

Blue Moon through the Duluth North Pier Lighthouse!
Tonight's moon is called a blue moon because it is the second full moon occurring in one month — the first was on July 2. The occurrence happens about every 30 months, or so.
It's always a delight to stand on the shoreline and photograph a full moon rise over Lake Superior, especially when my wife of 40+ years is along with.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained.......Psalms 8:3

7/30/2015--noon update - I am continuing to work through the camera issues, Hopefully things settle down and start running smoother.

Leif Erickson Park's Rose Garden Tour 07/23/2015
This morning I let Buzz go for a flight over the Duluth Rose Garden.
With more then 3000 rose bushes representing more than 100 varieties, the Rose Garden sits atop the I-35 Freeway and is an especially enchanting place to visit in the late summer months when the roses are in full bloom and the fragrance acts like an instant tranquilizer.
Don't forget to go "Full Screen"on the video.
