Duluth -- Emerald City of the North

Mid-summer photography in Duluth is great and even better from an airplane.

  5. Thank you. To be honest, I've used a lot of your photos over the years for my FB background...I just never asked before. LOL
I've always given proper credit though and mostly linked to northernimages.

  6. This image looks very "Kodachrome-like". Did you use a film camera, Dennis?

  8. Tim,
Although Buzz can go up to 1000+ ft high, I never fly him over 200ft and and usually stay under 100ft for the type of pictures I do.
I fly Buzz very conservatively and as safely as possible.

  9. Ken,
For this image, I used a polarizing filter the give the right conditions, deeply saturates the colors and increases the contrast.
