Sailboats on Ice

Soon there will be signs of Springtime in the Northland, but for now, the snow covered boats at Barkers Island Marina seem OK with the winters rest. I'm not quit sure about the boaters!

If you have a mobile device, you can view these links and get a real immersive experience by turning with the device and looking around.

Split Rock Lighthouse - The Jewel of Lake Superior

I often visit Split Rock Lighthouse and never get tired of it's sheer beauty.
Sitting on top of a 130 foot cliff, the lighthouse has stood sentinel over Lake Superior's North Shore for over 100 years.

Hang onto your hat as you step out on the ledge of the lantern room for a dramatic 360 degree view of the big lake.

Visit the CGC Mackinaw

When the CGC Mackinaw visited the Port of Duluth last year, I visited the bridge to take a 360 panorama.

Feel free to look around this incredibly beautiful boat.
