So do you know who had the drone as Lee A. came in??? JEFF
The drones must have gotten some good photos. They must have had FAA nigh waivers to fly after dark.
Anybody else noticed the drone in the footage? Great video.
Beautiful evening to watch the Lee A. Tregurtha arrive. I watched in Iowa and my granddaughter watched in Ohio. Both hearing the whistles blow at the same time while we were on the phone. Fun experience for all of us. Thanks Dennis
Is there a list of boats that are laying up in Duluth?
It isn't really a list of Duluth, but a list of all vessels and where they are wintering by company. Tecnically all the vessels are in Superior as they are at Fraser. Paul R Tregurtha at MERC, Lee A Tregurtha at Fraser, John J Boland Fraser, and not sure where the Oberstar will be docked. American Spirit Pipeline in Superior, Burns Harbor Elevator M Both Superiorhttp://www.boatnerd.com/layup/layup19-20.htm
go to boatnerd .com tells where and when all ships go into layup .
Will there be a map of layup locations??Hope so!
I liked listening to the bridge and the ship talking back and forth. The captain is heading for warmer weather in Florida! I was wondering what that little spot of light was, so that was a drone? Was always wondering when they honk there horns back and forth, is that some sort of morse code that they use with the long and short blasts? Thanks Dennis. Have a good winter.
A fav of mine, old and historic "lady of the lake". Saw her on the Marine cam up the north shore aways early in the day yesterday, figured she was heading in for winter layup since the Paul Tregurtha is already in Duluth--seems to me they were here for winter layup last year too. I was up in Duluth for grandson's hockey tournament, but was driving home when she came in; maybe I should've stayed longer to watch her come in, was going to run into snow anyway heading back. But Dennis always comes through, thanks!! Grammie Pat, West St. Paul, MN
