Dennis, I now live in Florida nd can still relate to these temperatures. It hurts your lung to breathe in, yuck!I just wanted to comment on the INDOOR HUMIDITY. Yours is way to low and will cause dry nose and static shocks and eventually a cold from having a dry environment. I'd recommend a hot steam vaporizer, they had heat and water to the indoors. Cheap to buy at Walmart or Walgreens. I suppose Snyder's Drug is long gone???
Thanks for your advice. Actually I have two steam humidifiers going. Once the wood stove fires up, it gets a bit dry. Usually the humidity runs about 35% when the temps are normal.
Yikes! I so feel for all of you who have to deal with these brutal and almost unreal temps. Thinking of you and praying for a change of weather coming your way soon. Hang in there and stay safe!Sylvia from mild Germany
