October Noreaster

The Gales of November Come Early.  This storm is one of the most powerful in recent years.  I was at Silver Bay this morning and winds were 65MPH.  Incredible power.
I hope the cams are able to hold up, I may have some fixing to do come tomorrow.

  5. Wow, my wife and I always visit in the summer but we were thinking of coming up to Bentleyville in November. I think we might have to reconsider.

    1. Hey, don't let storms on the lake scare you off from visiting to see Bentleyville, it's well worth it!! Besides, the lake will be different then--there will be ice in many places on the lake, but the shipping season continues into January, so you'd get to see the hard-working tugs and the Coast Guard breaking ice in the channel. Winter has a beauty all its own...Grammie Pat, West St. Paul, MN
