I wonder if they did that because of the way they were facing when they were on the hook? Their back was to the lighthouse, so it would've been just as easy to back in. And instead of waiting on Clyde S to clear them so they could turn they just decided to back in
Not unusual to see a boat dock into the harbor. Usually when they back in they put the stern up into Agate Bay and then go into the dock bow first. Unusual to see them go to the end of the ore dock, then turn to the dock.
Quite an unusual arrival method - why back in and then turn? Still, a cool video capture.
