Wisconsin Point Lighthouse

Built in 1910, the Wisconsin Point Lighthouse has stood it's ground for more then 100 years.  Because of its location, this lighthouse seldom gets a close look.
This is what the little photocopters are good at.

  3. Dennis,
I have been to Wisconsin point several times. I have never been brave enough to climb the rocks to get out to her. Thank you so much for this video.

  8. My first harbor alert came in too late as usual - several hours ( Mesabi Miner) . I'm in Eastern time. Anyone else have this problem? I don't know if it's my systems' fault or something else. I had this problem before with the Amazon alerts and will unsubscribe if no one can help. Thanks.

  9. Please don't leave over this. I too can't just wait all day to get my alerts, so in the morning I check the map to see what ships are heading toward Duluth, then I check the Boat Schedule at the left side of the page in the Links section. That way I can set my day accordingly by remembering what ships are coming and going at approximate times during the day. May take a little adjusting, but believe me it will be worth it..Don't think you'll find another site like this one on ALL the web..Just ask us regulars, and there's a bunch of us..Penny in IL

  11. Oh Penny, I love this site. I've been on it a long time, I just hadn't known how to use the comments. I use the AIS maps too, but was hoping the Amazon alerts would work this time. It's just that they're not worth getting if they're not in real time; as you say there are other ways of getting the times. I only meant I would unsubscribe from the Amazon alerts. I had them before and sometimes they were days late. And Dennis said he had to pay for them too.
