  1. Watching the ships arriving and departing Duluth via the live cams and following their journeys via marinetraffic.com gives me a great deal of pleasure and believe it or not, I am learning a great deal about various aspects of the shipping industry and how truly fortunate the people are who actually live in Duluth. Duluth is an underrated city and has taken great strides in promoting itself. Thank you Den (aka Mr. Duluth) for your generous support and diligence in what you do.

  2. Kudos, Dennis, on your amazing web presence. I too have learned so much about the shipping industry on the Great Lakes and Duluth in particular. For instance, I now know that 8 frantic blasts on the horn means "Heads up, thousand footer coming straight at ya!!" LOL. To all who pass under the Lift Bridge, best wishes for "Fair winds and following seas." Judy, La Crosse, WI.
