Gooseberry Falls State Park

Although the landscape around the Northland still may look like winter, the rising water in the Gooseberry Rive is an indication that we are actually in springtime. Gooseberry Falls is 20 miles northeast of Two Harbors on Lake Superior and a wonderful and enchanted place to visit.
Yesterday, after the heavy snow, Gooseberry looked like a winter wonderland and walking through the fresh snow seemed to put things into perspective. It really was a blessing to get the snow, at least for an old photographer that is drawn ever closer to God by His Creation that surrounds us every day.

Wish you were there!

  3. Thanks yet again for sharing your wonderful photos with us, Dennis. Being nearly the same age as you, I can relate to your feeling of being drawn ever closer to God by His creation... as someone posted under the Split Rock pix, "A perfect Northland moment created by one Master and captured by another".
