"A Superior Rainbow" - Duluth Canal 07/19/2023

A stunningly beautiful rainbow appeared over Lake Superior after the passing storms last evening. The music "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz is played on the piano by a good friend Mary Beth Carlson who passed away in 2021. Mary Beth and here husband Kent enjoyed many hours watching Lake Superior from their home on Burlington Bay.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Psalm 19

Pink Sky in the Morning - Sailors Take Warning

Pink Sky in the Morning - Sailors Take Warning, or so the saying goes.

Rainbows do not appear at 5AM very often, but, this morning was an exception as an approaching storm system triggered an amazing double rainbow over Caribou Lake for 5 minutes before it fading into the clouds.
