Did I just see the 'seiche' in action? The ice was steadily flowing out into the Lake, but at the 1:07 mark, it abruptly started flowing back to the bay. Amazing!
Yep, saw that too, the screen clock shows that happened about 7:45am, over an hour after the skies got light....amazing! Grammie Pat, West St. Paul, MN
I love it! So much going on, sea smoke, the chunks of ice, etc. It was so cool watching the water flowing one way and then stopped and changed directions. Really like the new picture of the tug boat too. Good work Dennis.
Love the new Home page picture of the hardy tugs and sea smoke. Also, thank you for bringing back the warmer days with the drone summer tour, the tall ships, etc. They are welcome in the cold days of deep winter. You do a great job of showing us the lake in all its many aspect of beauty all year round.
Beauty! Love the chunks of fog rising up and then exploding.
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat, someday I want to experience that awesome sea smoke. God bless all those photographers out there
