With winds increasing on Lake Superior, the Roger Blough decided to back off from loading in Two Harbors this morning.

  1. The captains really have a lot of skill. I notice the Presque Isle is out there by herself. I hope she weathers the storm well.

  2. Looked like the wind moved the cam?

  3. Roger Blough took shelter by Sand Island, just across the lake near Red Cliff. Presque Isle took shelter on the "Youper" coastline near Houghton and Ontonagon, looks like the American Spirit is currently heading for that bay. Grammie Pat, West St. Paul, MN approx.12:40pm

  4. Any idea why the Roger Blough would leave Two Harbors to anchor behind Sand Island for the storm and is now headed back to Two Harbors? At anchor is better than banging into a dock?
