Good grief! At least they had ATVs and sleds. Fun to watch though. Many thanks Dennis. Joan D.
Thanks for finally writing about >"Tales from the Harborcams - Sometimes ice fishing can be hard work" <Liked it!
They kept me entertained most of the day yesterday. I didn't get much work done. They were so much fun to watch wondering what would they think of next in order to get that ATV & 2 wheel trailer through that snow pile and onto the ice.Minnesota...the "Never Give Up State"? Or the "Git 'er Done State"?
They took enough gear out (several trips) to spend the night out there. And sure enough their trucks & the trailer are still parked in the same spot this morning. -10 degrees? How did they stay warm all night?
Dennis, have they raised the bridge since the ships have been in layup?
Thursday morning and their trucks and trailer still parked there! Hope they didn't freeze! Gee!
I wonder if they know they are famous now.
Could it be???Could it be the same guys who worked so hard to get their boat through the ice last year?
These guys have been out there for 2 1/2 days should the authorities be checking on them? Just asking. Seems strange!
Looks like they have returned about 10 this morning. Gee!
Been watching these guys sine 3/5 !! The first day 1 guy tried 2 or 3 times to get the loaded sled out by himself, he did work hard but never made it..I live in Rockford,IL and my wife and I think this beats TV by a mile..cant wait too see boats being put in..the cams are great...
If these gents worked this hard at their actual jobs, they could retire early!!
Might be a dumb question but I have to ask. Is the ice not that thick there to drive on with trucks or are they not allowed too?
Good question. The ice thickness changes rapidly, so, I guess nobody want to be the guinea pig.
Makes sense, better to be safe then sorry. Thanks for the reply.
I have not experienced the snow weather till now. Having snow everywhere is kind of great weather and these images are really great. Thinking of getting the richmond snow removal as, they are having the proper equipment.
