..GALE FORCE GUSTS FOR TWIN PORTS AND PARTS OF THE NORTH SHORE...
NWS- A cold front has brought gale force gusts to parts of western Lake Superior today.
These winds will persist through early thisevening causing waves to build as high as
10 to 14 feet along the north shore.
Conditions gradually improve on Monday as winds
decrease and turn more southeasterly.
I'm a bit new to following the lake traffic but it almost looks like from the tracker that ships are sheltering or delaying their entry due to this, would this be a correct assumption?Thank you.
It has really been amazing to watch today. I think this gale is more extreme than the other one a few days ago.
