She will be towed out on or about June 1st.
Do you know if she will sail underneath the Aerial Lift Bridge one last time or depart through the Superior piers instead?

Beautiful shot of this beautiful lady. It physically hurts to know she will be going away forever. I know: Many a ship have gone her way before... and many more will go the same way. But, that doesn't make it (or me) feel any better.
I sure wish a person could get some artifacts from her!!!!!Jeff
The Maritime Museum staff will be visiting the Victory tomorrow to see what they might get for display.
I hadn't heard this, is the American Victory going to be scrapped? If so, I am so sorry about it.
