Excellent, excellent, excellent! These aerial shots from your drone are so cool. Editing in the sound is great, and one of the great horns on the Lakes. Thanks for this video. By the way, where are you down below manning the controls???? Jeff
As far as drone use at Canal Park - you cannot take off or land from the Corps of Engineers property or interfere with lift bridge operations. Of course there are other FAA rules to follow (stay under 400ft and do not fly directly over people) and certainly common sense.
I live in the UK and found the Duluth cams a few weeks ago, realy interesting to watch,my favourite now being the Two Harbors Boat Launch. But this drone video is absolutely beautiful, what a view! For me it also puts Duluth into the surrounding scene, your weather is a lot better than in the UK too! Well done, more like this? A drone view of Two Harbors maybe?
So a salute 1 long blast and two short blast is the captains salute, what is 3 long blast and 2 short blasts salute called? I heard it as the formal ship salute but not sure if I'm right
Thank you so much for everything you do Dennis. I really appreciate the time you put into this website. It is my favorite place to go after a long day at work.
Great job Dennis. Love seeing these drone shots. Would also be interested in seeing a drone shot of the Two Harbors Boat launch. Keep up the great job. Watching from New Jersey.
Dennis, are there rules governing the use of drones around the lift bridge and ship canal?
ReplyDeleteBoy, that was crisp, clean, colorful and just plain gorgeous. Looks like a glorious day in Duluth.
