HHL Tyne arrived Duluth 082615

HHL Tyne arrived Duluth at 18:30 today with a load of wind turbine blades destined for North Dakota.

  1. If it's her first time here I wonder why the 2 tugs didn't meet her..They seem to meet all the other Int'l ships, even if they've been here before..Penny

    1. The Tyne does have bow thrusters being fairly new which I suspect could be a reason. Think some of the others require the tugs to position in the slips.

    1. Thanks Dennis. When compared to moving these behemoths on the Interstate Highways, lake travel sure simplifies things. We had one blade stuck on an off ramp here in So Dak recently, it was just too big!
