Dennis,, just a question,,do you know tug boat Jim out of Ashland??
Sorry Tim, no I don't
Dennis, our ABC affiliate said on tonight's news that 6 boats arrived in Duluth today for winter lay-up. True?
Actually, The American Integrity was the first of six that will be laying up here. 5 left to go over the next week.
Hi Dennis, What are the 6 that layup there and also, what if they are on the other side of the Locks after they close on the 15th?John T
You can view the layup schedule over at Duluth Shipping Newshttp://duluthshippingnews.com/It depends on the situation if a boat misses the closing. If icing is bad, and there are some boats left, they may work something out.
Hats off to the crew of the Great Lakes ships that endure all types of weather! They are the kind of people that make this nationgreat.
Hoping they park at least one on front of the cam, so we have something to get us through winter..
