  1. Hey, just read a CNN article that Duluth made it in the top 10 list for cities to visit in 2015. Duluth came in at number 9. Just thought you would like to know. I have been to Duluth several times as I have realitives in northern Wisconsin. Love your town

  6. I'd just read an article in today's Duluth News Tribune that someone had commit suicide by jumping off the Aerial Lift Bridge on Wednesday Evening: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/news/man-dies-after-jumping-aerial-lift-bridge-3631600. I was wondering if the Visitor Center camera had capture the incident last night.

  7. Yes, a tragedy indeed. While there may be some footage, I do not plan on making any public. I am so sorry for the family.

  8. Is the video of Bentleyville still available to be viewed, if so where do we find it? Want to share it with others who were not aware of it. A lot of preparation, work of many people to make such a beautiful display for the Christmas season. Thanks everyone as we viewed it the other day from Huron, SD.

  11. Thank you, Dennis, for not making footage from the other night public. It was a horrible tragedy, not meant to be exploited or viewed again. Your restraint is appreciated by many, and our prayers go out to the family of the young man.

  13. I was looking through the Duluth News Tribune obits for an old Central High classmate when I found the young fellow's listing. He was a good kid, brought tears to my eyes to read it! My condolences to the family.
