That isn't a dent you are seeing. That bump is the result of her center section being rebuilt and widened in late 2000 / early 2001. She was rechristeneded on March 3, 2001 as CSL Tadoussac after the $20 million dollar widening and conversion project. From the BoatNerd Vessel Feature page. Thanks for your great website Dennis. Love watching the cameras as often as possible.
Agreed on the {widened} work but definite dent forward of that area. Boatnerd has pictures [in old colors] showing a different look. No Dent. Maybe Dennis could post side by side pics to compare. Thanks Dennis for your Website and your time/effort.

The damage seems to be right where the boat widens out. Maybe someone still isn't used to parking the wider boat yet? I found a picture of the Tadoussac after widening at http://tugboathunter.wordpress.com/2012/05/06/a-new-perspective-part-ii/olympus-digital-camera-44/.
What did the CSL Tadoussac hit? There is quite a dent on the front of her.
ReplyDeleteHmmm--- interesting! I'll see what I can find out!
