December Sunrises are stunning displays of God's creations.  What better time view it then below zero on the shores of Lake Superior.

Safe Shelter - Whitefish Point

Many of the large boats on Lake Superior are now hiding out from the frigid arctic blast on the east side of the lake near Whitefish Point to shelter from the strong west winds.

Cold Weather Beauty

With cold weather settling in for the week, there should be some great views of ice covered boats, sea smoke rising and incredible sunrises.  With air temperatures barely rising above zero deg F this week, the winter beauty of Lake Superior will be on full display.

Hopefully we don't get any cameras shutting down for cold weather protection, but, it is possible.
