Canal Cam update!

Update: 3/8/2018 - 14:30 --- Complete - I will be tweaking the image over the next few days.
Thanks to all who donated to the new camera.

Tomorrow Friday, March 8th, I will be working on replacing the Canal Cam between 12:00 and 16:00.  You can expect the camera to be offline during that time.  With any luck, the new cam will be up and running later in the day.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Den

  4. Dennis! You are a hearty soul my friend!! Thank you for mounting it in these conditions ! With a home in western NY and St. Cloud MN all my wife and I have wanted to do is stay inside and hibernate. Think you better gather the dog and throw more wood in that stove. There’s another storm breathing down your neck buddy!

  6. Dennis:
Sorry to be a critic but could you please straighten the horizon on the Canal Cam? The world looks so much better when things are straight.

    1. Yes, the horizon is a bit tilted. I went down today to fix it but the roof mount is frozen in, so, I cannot do anything about it until we get above freezing for a few days. Thanks,
      Den

  11. THANK YOU for doing this! The Canal Cam is my very favorite and I am equally excited about the cams coming to Silver Bay since that is where I live. I love the new wider view on Canal Cam and I can hardly wait to see the first ships pass through in the near future.

  12. Love the view! Kinda miss the traffic going over the bridge noise as it seems a bit more muted now but perhaps that will come back with all your adjustments. It's nice to wake up to the gulls during the warmer months :)
