Thanks Dennis. Diehards, right? I wonder if Ole and Sven from last Spring were among them.
What species of fish are they after this time of year? Pretty rough temperatures they are going out in. Gee!
I think are catching coho and lake trout, but, I take a drive up tomorrow and see.
I took a screen shot yesterday and one today. Enjoyed the video.
Would be nice if the fast forward wasn't so darn fast!! Hard to even tell what's going on.
Go to the gear on your youtube and you can adjust the speed. I slow mine down all the time.
Looks like their out again today at Two Harbors and can even see one at Wisconsin Point.
Thinking about that scene from "Grumpy Old Men"... :-)
There were quite a few out fishing at some distance from the Canal Park museum parking lot in Duluth yesterday afternoon, maybe up near the Congdon mansion? Came up for another hockey tourney, then we had late lunch at our fav Little Angie's. (Perk for winter visitors = free parking!) It was getting darker and darker gray out though, not raining when we left town, but ran into rain further south on the way back to the Cities...and subsequently, ice coating everything today. There are two fish shanties near No.2 ship loader in Agate Bay that have been there all day today. 9thh. Feb. And a red truck at the boat ramp that has been there all day. Should someone be checking on these guys? It is really cold up there and they are there all day. I'm in Ohio so can't do anything. And maybe this isn't all that unusual for ice fishing but is troubling to me. Wondering if they are ok.!
Well the two all day ice fishermen can back in tonight about 8:30 pm. They had to be really frozen! At least they were ok!
