Apostle Island Ice Caves 2015

Yesterday I made it over to the Apostle Island Ice Caves on a sunny February afternoon.
The beauty of the caves never ceases to amaze me. God has crafted the Apostles in an incredible way and it is indeed humbling to visit the caves in winter or summer.
****You can visit my online gallery of the 2015 caves by clicking HERE.
****You can take a 360 degree view of the inside by clicking HERE

I hope you enjoy the scenery as much as I did!

  6. Beautiful shots! Do you wear cleats on your boots and use ski poles for balance when you walk over there? I'm guessing nobody can go to the caves today due to the bad weather.

  7. Hi Lori,
Yes, cleats were a must this year. After the snow today, it might be OK without cleats, assuming the caves are opened back up.
With high winds tonight and 40 degree weather next week, it may be a short lived opening.
