You are overlooking Duluth, Minnesota which is a city built on hills overlooking the western tip of Lake Superior. The first camera to the left is owned and operated by the Corps of Engineers' Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center with funding from the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association. The next camera is focused on the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge while the next two cameras cover the Duluth Inner Harbor and the Duluth Main Harbor.

Got to see it "live". Why do the satellite scans never show the ships when they get close to Duluth?
ReplyDeleteMake sure you check bot the map at the bottom of this page, and the linked AIS page to the right. Sometimes one will show a boat that the other doesn't.
ReplyDeleteBacking up a 1000-ft ore tanker. That's definitely in my top 10 list of things to do! They make it look easy! I wouldn't want to do it! That was cool to see the different views!
