Indiana Harbor Emergency 360 Turn 12/01/2017

During a nighttime arrival, the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge experienced a malfunction that ended up diverting the 1000 ft Indiana Harbor into a 360 turn (Timelapse).  Good communications between the Bridge Operator and Indiana Harbor Captain avoided a possible serious problem.
