Camera Club!

Harborcam Camera Club

Requirement -- photos must be taken from one of harborcam live streams or snapshot page.

Photography is a fun and relaxing pastime. Often there are great scenes on the harborcams that most of us never see and by you being there (online) you can take a photo and share with us on your favorite social media.

Why become a harborcam photographer
Photography is about capturing a moment and often about waiting until the right time.  With the harborcams, you have some of the best locations in the northland for capturing boats, wildlife, people, and weather.  As I have found out, it's all about sharing and being able to give someone a little snippet of Northland beauty.

How to capture an image
Use your phone - go to full screen on the video and take a picture.
If the video is playing on the phone, do a screen capture.
Use the snapshot page and "save as"

Where to share
Facebook, Instagram, email wherever you like. Tag or # duluharborcam so we can all see it.
Feel free t share on the harborcam Facebook page.

About copyright: The snapshots you take on the harborcam streams are yours.  A link to the duluthharborcam website would be appreciated.

  1. I've shared some on my Twitter @BThunder292 with the credit "With an assist from DuluthHarborCam.com". Now that you have a hashtag, I'll use that. I think my pics of the Thunder Bay late last season got around Twitter pretty good.

  2. I've shared a bunch on the Great Lakes Channel on FB, and have always credited the website. I think it's great to have a hashtag to use now. You're right that you can be at the right place and time to capture some fun pictures.
