The horn file is neat, but about 1/2 of them show WHOOPS! There was a problem playing this audio file. Is that the file or my system?
I had the same problem with my cellphone and home computer. I was able to hear them by moving my cursor to the sound bar and a little box shows saying "Pop-out". I clicked on it and the sound bar showed up on my screen without a picture of the boat. I clicked on the start button and the sound bite played ok.
Wonderful!! More to keep us busy!! How about everybody's favorite, the Paul R. Tregurtha?????
The James R Barker
The James R Barker is defiantly unique
Can you explain the different horn blasts??
1 long & 2 short is a salute for the bridge, 3 long & 2 short is a Master salute
Oh, I love it! Thanks!Sylvia
Next best thing to being there. Just spent a week in Duluth at a hotel in close proximity to the canal. Ship watcher's paradise. I appreciate all your hard work as well as the work from the other contributors.David Barker
Love this!! Thanks!
Totally cool! Thanks, Dennis!
Dennis, You are always upgrading this website. We are very fortunate to have your talents.Keep up the good work. What's next? Live Drone shots with audio?Pete Arizona
Great idea, I would like to use one for a ring tone. You need the Munson & Alpena would be the best 2
Still working on it. I have downloaded the barkers mp3. I’ll figure it out!#techgirl
Really neat addition! Love that horn on the James R. Barker.David Barker
I vote for the Barker too!
The boat horns are great but the fog horn on the ship canal was superb. With the advent of electronic navigational aids, the light houses and land based fog horns became obsolete. A brief history of the Duluth foghorn is here https://tinyurl.com/ybvzn7cl and listen to the old fog horn here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnmYvkGVI9E
I have the Barker as my ringtone. It gets everyone's attention
love the Barker !!!
Love to see the people watching the ships at canal park.
Can you put on the Lift Bridge horn on this site. I always liked to hear it...Thanks...
That would be nice to here the Lift Bridge horn.
Thanks for the horns! Can you get some older vessels too (Alpena) and maybe the Coasties (Adler). You have really filled out the website!
