Norshor Theater Tour

Many older Duluthians have fond memories of the Norshor Theater. The newly renovated theater in the heart of downtown Duluth is both a step back in time and a look to the future.

I took some time this week to look around the beautifully restored facility and thought you might like to take a peek inside also.

You can visit the tour at:

  1. As usual, a phenomenal job of photography, Mr. O'Hara. I have been reading about this in the Star Tribune and L S Mag, and now to see it...wonderful! Bravo, Duluth. God bless you every one. Guy in Sioux Falls

  3. Too Intense. Fly though, walk through! Mouse, stop it, you are giving me vertigo! I can't find the bathroom, OMG, I'm on the stairs again, and where is the theater? No, I don't need a drink at the bar, why are you leading me back there again! I'm getting ill. Nevermind, I found the exit. I'm back on Superior Street again, in the cold, but at least the walls arent spinning anymore.

    That was close.

Totally awesome interrior, even through I always have a bit of difficulty navigating through these virtual reality sites.

Magnificent. Breathtaking. Met my wife-to-be there in 1959, married in 1960. Still married 57 years later. Thanks, Denny. We have returned to Duluth 55 of the last 57 years and look forward to our trip in July when, hopefully, we can get tickets to Music Man.

    1. Thank you for your good comments about the NorShor. You may wish to pre-order the Music Man tickets as they likely will sell out quickly (MaMa Mia 15 shows sold out before it opened). Good to hear from a native Duluthian.
