The Red Sea!

While the "real" Red Sea located in the Middle East sometimes appears red when a particular type of algae blooms, the Duluth Harbor recently has taken on a red color due to a large inflow of red silt from nearby deposits washed into the bay during very heavy rains.
This amount of inflow is unusual, but, not harmful and will slowly settle over the next few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy the rather unusual situation.
