Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all the visitors to Duluth Harbor Cam.

With the arrival of January, the 2010 shipping season will soon come to and end. I hope you have enjoyed watching the live views of the Duluth Harbor and the videos of harbor traffic throughout the year.

Since harbor traffic has slowed down significantly, I will not be posting any new recordings until next season. Don't forget that you can go back in the archives and view last years boat traffic, day by day.

I hope to be able to keep operating in 2011 and hope you stop by for a visit occasionally.
If you have any recommendations for next year, please drop me a line at my email:

The live views of the harbor will continue during the off season.

  1. Thanks Dennis for all of the hard work that you put into this website, it is much appreciated.

I wonder if the people that visit this website understand how long it takes just to produce the videos of the ship traffic or how much effort it takes to keep the webcams going.

Thank You from a viewer in Grand Rapids MI.

  2. Thank you very much for the views of the harbor! It brings back so many memories of family vacations! Thank you again.

  3. We live in the South where Winter comes in all too brief 48-hour bursts. These are quickly replaced by warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. No beautiful snow, ice or misty waters here. Thanks so much for sharing.

  4. I wholeheartedly agree with the others. Great website. Wonderful videos of the ships. Really appreciated.

My dad briefly worked as a welder on the lift bridge. Family lived in West Duluth. All gone now. Your website(s) are really great to visit. Next best thing to visiting Duluth and eating pizza at Sammy's.

    Best in 2011.
